Episode Synopsis: BIG LOVE “A Seat at the Table” Season 5 Episode 2 – Bill’s attempt to stage a “safety net” meeting for polygamist leaders is hindered by Alby and Home Plus objectors. In an effort to find common ground with her mother, Barb (Jeanne Tripplehorn) asks Nancy (Ellen Burstyn) to join her at a symposium focusing on mother-daughter Mormon challenges. Nicki (Chloe Sevigny) learns the extent of Adaleen’s (Mary Kay Place) isolation; Marge (Ginnifer Goodwin) despairs over the quandary involving Ana (Branka Katic) and Goran (Steve Bacic); and Cara Lynn (Cassi Thomson) impresses her math teacher, and Greg (Cody Klop).

Show Summary: Big Love Season 5 – On election night, new state senator Bill Henrickson shook Utah to its core by announcing he was a polygamist. Now, instead of being embraced for their honesty, the Henrickson family is engulfed by hostility from neighbors, Home Plus employees, casino partners, students at their kids’ schools and even fellow polygamists hoping to keep their personal lives private. Meanwhile, at Juniper Creek, Alby Grant returns from a selfimposed desert exile with revenge on his mind. Can the Henricksons survive this flood of ill-will?

Big Love is a Golden Globe Award winning American television drama on HBO about a fictional fundamentalist Mormon family in Utah who practice polygamy. The principle cast of Big Love features Bill Paxton as family patriarch Bill, Jeanne Tripplehorn as conflicted first wife Barb, Chloe Sevigny as impulsive second wife Nicki, and Ginnifer Goodwin as emotional third wife Margene. The show was co-created by Mark Olsen and Will Scheffer, who also serve as executive producers. Olsen and Scheffer spent almost three years researching the premise of the show, with the intent of creating a fair portrayal of polygamy in America without being judgmental.

Meet Bill Henrickson (Bill Paxton), a modern-day Utah polygamist who lives in suburban Salt Lake City with his three wives, eight children, and a mounting avalanche of debt and demands. The owner of a growing chain of home improvement stores, Bill struggles to balance the financial and emotional needs of Barb, Nicki and Margene, who live in separate, adjacent houses and take turns sharing their husband's member each night.
